Wife and I have 3 months, so are planning a trip. Initially we were thinking of Thailand, Australia, NZ, and a three week trek in S.America then back to the UK. This means approx 2 weeks in Bangkok, 2 weeks perth, 4 days melbourne (been before so this is plenty), 2 weeks to get from Christchurch to Aukland and then 4.5 weeks in S.America (Santiago to Ushuaia, up to Buenos Aires then back). Might extend this leg to take in Machu Pichu.
Now i'm considering just spending 3 months in S.America, as we're worried that we're zipping through places too fast.
Any thoughts? The main concern is with NZ - two weeks to get from Christchurch to Auckland sound feasible?
