i will be travel alone from jakarta to thailand, perhaps with cambodia or vietnam extention this december 2007.
the kickstart would be from singapore. i might take train to get to kuala lumpur (some say it's a cute trip, the train:), and then maybe enjoying the city as one of the most-decent-structural-neat (phuih-outofbreath) place in asia for like a day (thinking to go the forest conservation if only i meet partner to join and share budget).
then fly to thailand (or bus? some say it's worth journey to take a bus. any sugestion?). the rest would be phuket and around (open for any interesting sugestions), then cambodia or vietnam.
so that's the plan. haven't really fix though.
anyone has similar plan and need to share budget as i do?
I will be in the Philippines in Dec. and I am planning to go to Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia and others (wherever my budget can take me) I'm pretty flexible w/ my dates and destinations and I'm looking for a travel buddy.
If you haven't found anybody - perhaps we can go together? Whereabouts in the world are you currently in now?

Hi....my name is James and I am dying to glob trek some more. The only thing now that is holding me back is not having travel partners. I am open to visit for a couple of weeks in Dec - Jan. I want to be home for the Christmas week though.
I am from California and experiencing the culture rather than tourist (big cities ok) what I'd like to do?
