I would like to announce a new contest on GLOBO. It's great fun and you can win a 20 US$ amazon gift certificate. As you all know its really easy to write travel reports on GLOBO. We would like to encourage ALL MEMBERS to write down their travel experiances and fill them with pictures.
Chrissi *Christmas* is aproatching and so this is a good time to do some reviews on your already done travel around the world. The more people take part on our contest, the more interesting it gets! Show the others your great dream stops!
Here are the rules:
- Content duration is from now on till the 23.12.02
- All reports containing at least one image withing the mentioned time period are automaticly taking part in the contest.
- You can write as many reports as you want. The more reports and more interesting they are the higher your chances!
- We do pick the report we think is the most interesting and most valuable one for the GLOBO community.
The winner will recieve the Amazon 20 US$ gift certificate on the 24.12.2002 and will be notified by email.
We do encourage you to reply on this threat and make suggestions which report should be nominated. Just hit the reply button and write why you would pick the special one and include the URL so we can check it out.

The GLOBO community has created some stunning reports in the last days and we would like to announce the REPORT OF THE MONTH December 2002 winner!
We had so many good travelouges published by GLOBOs all around the world. The choice was rather hard to find the best of those, as they are all really great.
Finally Wojtekd http://www.globosapiens.net/wojtekd has made the run. His report "Antarctica - how to get there?" is well worth to read and gives you a great idea on his journey. Congratulations!! A 20 US$ Gift certificate for this great work - just right for Chrissi :-))
Lots of GLOBO's have also contributed hundreds on impressive pictures into the gallery. Meanwhile there are well over 2000 images online. You might find lots info about the location you are planing to go!

Congratulations to Wojtekd on winning the report of the month for his report "How to get to Antartica". I agree it is really worth reading and the photos are fantastic.
I would also like to say that I think that Globosapiens is improving all the time and thanks to Andy for all his hard work.
I hope that 2003 makes everyone's travel wishes come to fruition and that the world becomes a little bit safer for everyone.
