well! good question!
I used a lot my compact camera "Olympus" ... really easy to use, small and not so weight to carry with.
Now i bought recently the Nikon F-55, i don´t know if will be a good idea at least but anyway i did it.

Ops! and the problem is with the Foto Films!!!
Everytime carry with all of them ... i´m a quick shooter!!!
Maybe the best is carry with an small digital camera but at the moment are really expensive.

Ah, it has to be nothing short of my Canon digital G2, plus two changes of batteries to make sure I have enough juice to power my IBM 1Gig Microdrive. Plus the camera stand, of course. Will look into some special lenses next, but since the G3 is slated for release later this year... hmmm... that would be a tough decision to make! The D60 is currently out of budget!

I use a Panasonic digital camera and a Samsung Maxima Zoom 760i. The Samsung is a 35mm and works very easy for those quick point and shoot shots. It also has several shutter settings. I like the Digital camera for the quality of photos it takes. It's also very easy, take a shot and keep or delete if it doesn't work out for you. You can find them on sale and then they don't hurt the bank account to buy one!

For all the pix I have on GLOBO a IXUS II from Canon was responsible :-) It is really nice and handy. For the digitalisation I bought a canon filmscanner 2070 which brings the aps images to digital live. Without the filmscanner they look not half es good. I tryed to digi them with a hp flatbatscanner, but was not satisfied with the result.
However.. here in Germany the Photokina is currently in cologne. This is the worlds biggest exhebition for photo equipment. I am planning to buy a digi one. Just don't know which one:-) A nice and handy on would be great, but the digital ixus has just 3 mpix (the brand new one).
Maybe someone has a good suggestion?

Well, I alway carry my Rico XR-P with two different lenses with me, a Olympus compact camera and since last winter also a Pentax Optio 330 digital camera wich is small, robust and takes quality-photos's. You think that is one camera too much? So do I, but I am not able to determine wich one to leave at home.

Hi,
usually I produce slide shows (2 or 3 projectors controlled and set to music by an mp3-player). So my camera is an traditional analog Nikon F5 with a 20-35mm/f2,8 and a 80-200/f2.8 lens. Thats heavy equipment (7kilo with flash and another macro lens), for this reason a can't travel without my wife (((-:
There is nothing better than a brillant slide made with top quality lenses. To put my pictures to globo I use a Nikon Coolscan III. Have a look!
