Expected to strike the coast and pass through Texas this weekend. After the destruction left by Katrina, grocery stores at College Station (50 miles from houston) are overcrowded with people stocking up supplies for the weekend.
CollegeStation at Brazos county is already hosting several refugees from Katrina and could become home to more over the weekend.
General restlessness and worry is seen on everybody's face after the annoucement of the hurricane.
Mandatory evacuation has been ordered in several counties.
We just hope and pray that area remains as is (or close to what it is) after the hurricane passes.

Yes, already category 5! The places I visited a month ago are now also in danger some just meters above sea level, specially Galveston and Dickinson Bayou. After last phone calls, my relations and friends are buzy evacuating, the maximum strike expected on Friday night.
