Byahe sa Bohol (Bohol Travel)

If asked which place would I spend my summer, Boracay or Bohol? I'll choose the latter, why? three (3) words: peaceful awesome beaches! This is actually what I did this summer, I even brought my mom, sister-in-law and my sis-in-law's mom.

Bohol is an island near Cebu, its beaches are not only its attractions but also it has lots of historical places and of course if you love to eat seafoods (very cheap), this is the right place to be. Bohol is also the place where the Spaniards first came and colonized the Philippines. People here are friendly and very hospitable.

Favourite spots:
Chocolate Hills

Panglao Island, where the great beaches are located, there's also lots of things you can do here aside from lazing at the beach, like, whale watching, scuba dive, snorkel, etc. The very popular 1,268 uniformly shaped hills that looks Hershey-chocolate brown during summer called Chocolate Hills, which my sister in law was in awe because she never thought that the hlls will be gigantic in size and thousand in numbers. We had lunch on board the floating restaurant while cruising the Loboc River and had our picture taken holding a 'Tarshier' its the world's smallest primate, has large owl-like eyes that's bigger than its entire brain and it can also rotate its head up to 180 deg. in each direction. A visit to the famous and very old Baclayon Church which is made of limestone. Lastly of course, the best part of our trip is shopping for pasalubong or gifts for our friends and families at one of the souvenir shops which made our trip complete.

What's really great:
Man Made Forest, Bohol, Philippines

On our way to Chocolate Hills, we passed by a place they called man made forest and while we are passing through the massive trees that for me looked like a work of art because the trees grew like a tunnel and while we were under those trees I felt humble. I guess, that's why this place is special for me not because its an awesome scene but it left a memorable feeling to me.
