HISTORY OF TEMPLE: By various traditional stories this temple is thousand years old. Some stories – “One girl named- bambleshwari , for worship go to height of this mountain , and after many years she became stone that shown as a women’s body , “ , “ some pundits says that- When lord Shiva s wife died , then lord Shiva became anger and he put dead body of parvati on his shoulder and start “Tandav Nritya” , after some time Parvatis body is destroyed in several parts . During Nirtya parts of body are felled on several places of this earth, were parts are felled that place is known’s “Shakti -Pith” (Some Shakti Piths are---Kamkhya Devi, Assam….). Bambleshwari devi is also a part of Devi Parvati. Like these stories are famous at this place. But this is a miracle that if any body make any wish by clean hart that wish is came true. Every year two times Nav-Ratri fastivals is celebrate , Nav-Ratri festival is very famous in India. Bambleshwari Devi Temple is controlled by an trust , This trust is under control Royal Kairagarh Riyasat s members , that is from last 150 years ago to till today.
Good time to visit Nav-Ratri Festival, and month Aug to Jan.
Temple is on a mountain , climbing 1000 feet height by near about 3000 satires, well man tend with all facilities like drinking water, halting halls , refreshment , food stalls , and many stalls to perches monuments of temple and other things. Also Rope-Way facility is there. Near about 2 hours time taking by feet and few minutes by Rope-Way. That is depending as choice. When we clime to temple around us very good land marks greenery, see city, mountains , and forest beauty gives relax to eyes and as well to hart….
Back side of Bambleshwari devi temple one another small mountain named- Pragyagiri. At this place Buddha s temple is very beautiful. Near by at another place to see that is “Chandmari” this place is Christians, a big cross is there. This place is known as –Many religious hill city.
