Here is just a small report on my last trip to Hong Kong, one of my favorite cities in the world. I highly recommend going away from the tourists spots and check out the local scene.
Hong Kong is absolutely amazing. From the moment you step off the plane, you'll love every minute of it. The airport itself is quite nice. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency (cool modest rooms) and had a very nice view of the water. Everything, from the food to the people, is great. People are friendly and very helpful when it comes to helping you find places you would like to visit.
Favourite spots:
I liked going to the local markets. You find nice herbs and tea leaves for a very reasonable price (all of which here in the States, gets quite overpriced)
What's really great:
Food. Can't beat original Chinese food. and the people that worked in the hotel couldn't of been better.
