Jackson travelogue picture
Jackson, Wyoming is one of the most awe-inspiring places I have been. It sits in the middle of the Teton Mountain Range that has three main peaks that jet straight into the sky. This small town has a fun, rustic cowboy type feel AND draws the wealthiest of people. The skiing is rated as one of the best places (and largest) to ski in North America.

Favourite spots:

Favorite spot would be on the Snake River watching the sun set over the Tetons with a fly-rod in one hand and a beer in the other. The fishing in Jackson, while I had bad luck, IS superb. Crowds are easily avoided here. The drive up the valley to Jackson Hole is also very nice. It is rather intimidating heading straight into a mountain that is so incredibly intimidating.

What's really great:

The feel of the town is what I liked best. It is easy going, laid back, but still hyperactive because of the bragging rights nature presents all around you. One can fish and with in ten minutes, do some outrageous mountain climbing or riding a cliff line on your board as you contemplate taking a leap of faith.

Hangouts:
The Million Dollar bar is a top spot but rather uncomfortable. The owner got the idea to have saddles for bar stools and it doesn't make for a relaxing beer after all day of skiing. LOTS of other little pubs in the area...

Other recommendations:
A plus that many miss on is the local beer. There are a lot of breweries in the area and some good dark micro's are in no short supply.

Those are some great scenic shots. You should put more of these online.
