Kerch is a city at east at of the Crimea. You can reach it with bus from Simferopol or by train via Dzankoy. In Simferpol there is a "international airport".You can reach it the best over Kiev or Istanbul. Which has a rich history and is sourrounded by beautiful nature. I staied there in January 2003 and in Summer.
Favourite spots:
Mitridad Hill.Which is the city center.When you climb on it you have a great you over the sea.
What's really great:
Well I liked the sea a lot. It has such a wonderful color :) The antic places were really interesting too
Sights:
Car'sskij Kurgan antic tomb, Enikale fort at the north of Kerch (I was a little bit dissapointed about i ) , Mitridad Hill. Demeter Museum....
Accommodations:
Summer maybe only sometimes water and in winter at night no electrcity..
Other recommendations:
If you go around Crimea you maybe also visit the other cities like Simferopol, Sevastopol, Yalta and so on :)
