Khartoum is a true Saharan capital city. Everywhere in the city you will find the sand and dust that is so typically for the desert. The Nile is the only reason that something can live there.

Hilton hotel (air conditioning) and the Internet Café.
What's really great:
The markets are always fun to stroll around. The Sudanese people are very friendly and really helpfull without having to fear for other reasons...

Campsite at Isaac's place some 14 K's south of Khartoum.

The clean and fresh driking water you can get from Isaac's well!
