I've been in Luzern about 4months ago. This was my very first trip to Switzerland and i didnt know what to expect. When we think Switzerland, we think mountains.... Landed in Zurich and there was no mountains
When we got to Luzern by train, we could see mountains far away...
I really loved the lake with the mountains very far behind in the background. The train station is like the heart of Luzern, right in the centre. The hotel i stayed at was Monopol, i would stay there again should i ever visit Luzern again!
Favourite spots:
If you ever visit Luzern, i would suggest you visit the Lion Monument , and the Chappel Bridge!
What's really great:
The chappel bridge and the Lion monuments was the hilite of Luzern, it is a very very very old bridge, and makes wonderful photos!
Accommodations:
We stayed at Monopol Hotel, this was a lovely hotel!
