Port city, very hot and humid, no garbage system to speak of.Many street babies(under 5yrs)and street kids begging for a shilling. Very interesting mix of culture here, swahili,christian, moslem. President of Kenya lives on Mama ndinga(sp) drive

Notable sites, Mamba Village(largest croc farm in Africa) Ngorongo cultural centre(11 tribal villages)Fort Jesus, Gedes ruins,
What's really great:
hangin' with the locals at the Jambo Hotel in Migidini Momabasa. Shopping for groceries, visiting the postal depots, riding the matatus.
Accommodations:
stayed with a local person in their place so I have no idea.
Nightlife:
Florida night club, and any one on the south beach.
Restaurants:
any local one is great however make sure you drink bottled water where YOU break the seal on it.
