It was a nice city with old beautiful buildings all around it. If you wanna take a taxi first you should say your desired price to the driver, People help you find your address eagerly, krishatik street with is the main street in kiev is closed for cars on wekend nights and people gathere there singing and dancing and having fun with their friends , it was such a nice seen which I can not forget it!
Favourite spots:
Kreshatik Street which was a nice place for walking and meeting people, River Palace wich was a nice disco but expensive, hotel rus.
What's really great:
The people were special for me ,very kind, helpful and friendly. Iwas amazed by that.
Nice report, but try to add some more details. As to the taxis - I found it a rule in the Ukraine that initially taxi drivers want to rip you off telling twice the normal price. Just halve the quote and it should be OK (5 minutes of haggling should be enough).
