Hiking partner needed for New Zealand, 2005

mtnfreak Joined: Aug 04 Points: 4 Posts: 1 Posted: 2004-08-16 08:51:00    Hi everyone, I'm f, 23, from Melbourne, and wanting to go to NZ next year starting Jan, to do at least 4 months of hiking the most scenic tracks (Mt Cook, Mt Aspiring & Kahurangi NPs some of the areas at the top of my list). I don't want to hike by myself for all the obvious reasons, so I'd like to find a fairly permanent hiking partner if I could. I've met lots of people who are going for a couple of months but if I hooked up with different people all the time I could see that getting complicated (eg. people wanting to do the same walks I've already done). I'll hopefully be doing farmwork, skiing, etc in between or afterwards, I'll probably be staying for 6-12 months.
