Hello-

I take a lot of pictures with my digital camera, and want a digital frame so I can do a slideshow presentation of my work.

I've come across these companies who make them, any body one one or know which is best? My camera support Compact Flash cards.

Vialta: http://www.vialta.com/vistaframe100.htm

Ceiva: http://www.ceiva.com

I am looking for something very stylish, and capable of doing slideshows of 100s of photos (for personal and work related advertising).

Thanks!

- Brian.

Interesting! Looks like the Vialta is more expensive up-front, but stands alone, and the Ceiva is initially cheaper, but requires a monthy subscription fee (which will add up over time, and could easily end up costing you more... also, beware of getting new technology that requires this sort of support -- if the company goes out of business, you've just got yourself a $125 paperweight).

Personally, I'd save your money, and get yourself a decent laptop (I'm partial to the Apple 12" powerbook). That way, you get something that can display your photos & slideshows, plus a whole lot more. With Apple, you can also easily make iMovies with your photos, zooming in and out, blending transitions and scoring to music, very dynamic!

Cheers,

Liz

Lover of just five things - travelling, photography, thick crust pizzas, the xy-chromosomes, the Italians and the Dutch. Well, I can't count, so?
