hi Ravi , do you have program called close up? some digital cameras has it, i found it difficult too, in some range - distance camera just cannot focus on flower , i think it may be that flower has great differences in distance from the lens in small points , like tulips for example , difficoult is is to take picture closeup of bottom of flower , with sharp view of the edges of petals , maybe try to capture with closeup, bigger zoom ( not digital) but from the further distance than 15-20 cm, camera should not have problems with focus from distance, cheers. martin

There's a short, general article on CNN site today titled "Photography tips for the traveler" http://www.cnn.com/2005/TRAVEL/ADVISOR/07/28/photography.tips/index.html

Happy picture taking, everyone!

hi ravi, be extra(vel)ordinary - feel the spirit, choose the spots no one would even bother to switch on camera, but , add your heart to it , chose carefully light and angle, create , not shot or take. dont be afraid of weird pictures , they are pretty too , and hey, dont worry about ratings , its your pictures there , not others :) martin
