I've now got back Paint Shop pro and uploaded all my slides. All the slides and my digital photos are now saved as jpegs - but when I try to add them to my invisible reports, I get a message that it's not a jpeg image.

I'm doing exactly what I've done before.

???????????????????????????????????????

GLOBO will only accept the very normal and in the whole world now almost standard accepted format "jpg format" ( *.jpg). Please also at least 600xwide and not greater than 2MB big also, definetely not jpeg (video?) or jpe or any other format that our wonderful programs may FIRST suggest, also not just any formats like bmp, pcx, pcd, dct, pdf, rxm, pix, kdk or any other. I use the free and simple program "XnView" to sort out all my picture adjustments and format quickly and successfully. Also, most good digital cameras come together with such good programs too I believe! I think though that "Adobe Photoshop" is amongst the best in this field. David, hope this and other entries help. Its important for all uses of the net. More tips and suggestions? Members please help us all ......

Thanks, Rudi - but that still leaves me with a problem. The label on the photos I'm trying to upload is '100_0062.jpg' [100_0062 simply because I've not given it a caption yet].

The message I get when I try to upload is 'This is not a JPEG (.jpg or .jpeg)' image!

I have tried both 400 pixels, which I used to use for rport photos and, following your tip, 600.

I'll go on playing a bit but I'm baffled.

Thanks again

David

I've now tried all I can think of - XnView, uploading to a travel tip and straight uploading as a photo. Nothing I have considers it other than a jpg.

This site refuses to believe it is one.

I deny being an incompetent nutter - but then I would - wouldn't I?

I had Kodak Easyshare on the computer from when I uploaded my digital photos. I wasn't aware that I was using it - I seemed to be in Paint Shop. I don't know why but I uninstalled Easyshare. Now I can upload to my reports!

???????????????????????????????????

But 'if it ain't broke, don't mend it'.

Sorry if I've bored everyone to tears.

Hi David, Rudi

I'm happy that everything works again on your side David!

Rudi I just tried your suggestion... but there's a problem max file size for pics is 500kb not 2gb as you told... at least that's what globo tells me anyway when I try to upload a pic bigger than 500k

Am I doing something wrong?
