I would be interested in your opinion Rudi, I got used to ignoring brochures but always tried to get a copy of 'The Rough Guide' usually pretty accurate!

Tony, I read very little and will use broschures to get a feel of a destination but never use the "special" offers they promise. I often buy two or three travel guides and compare the info, be it; lonely planet, marco-polo, polyglott... They dont change much, an old or used guide costs around €3.
