Member opinion: This might be the best place for seafood in Gibraltar without needing to spend a fortune. It is located at the new Marina Bay. The Da Paolo serves Mediterranean-style fish and fruits of the sea, which are superb and for a very reasonable price. It is often very busy, but the service is efficient, friendly and very professional with a great personal touch. The owner tours the tables making sure everything is in order, and it is not unusual for the chef to do the same. Fish and shellfish are fresh and cooked to perfection. There are also non-fish dishes on the menu with Italian and slightly Iberian touch. The decor is simple, nothing too fancy but it is absolutely fine and relatively comfortable.
