Member opinion: This UNESCO world cultural Heritage site is truly a hidden gem in the french Jura. 35 Kilometers from Besancon or Dole. There is this hughe complex of the salt gaining industry concieved and build between 1775 and 1779 by Claude Ledoux. It has a architecture museum about the work of Claude Ledoux. He was a visionary of his time and did some great work.
