Hammanet Jasmine (the new holiday resort) is located halfway between Hammamet and Nabeul and has good road connections. Nabeul is not really a tourist town (located around 40 miles from Tunis), it is more known for its pottery which dates back to Roman times (the blue and white coloured pottery with a fish is the most popular). On Fridays the main street is blocked off for the Camel Market; although camels aren’t sold there, it’s a bit of a tourist trap as loads of souvenirs, crafts and of course pottery.
