Carrbridge is situated on the A9 from southern Scotland to Inverness and makes an excellent break on the way to the north or north-west. There is a Landmark Centre where children and adults can pass some hours. This contains a good bookshop and reasonable snacks. Its cinema shows films on the nearby Cairngorm Mountains area, which are well worth seeing.
Carrbridge is close to the RSPB osprey reserve and is a good point of access to walking in these mountains. [edit text][editors]
