If you want grand buildings or museums, try Edinburgh. You won't find them here. This is a small hamlet above the long bay that stetches from south of Achiltibuie to beyond the even smaller hamlet of Reiff. The main personmade thing of note in the village itself is the stores, the only general store on the west of Coigach except one at Achiltibuie. Lying between here and Altadhu you can turn left down an unsigned road to Old Dornie, a picturesque and efficient anchorage, even [it's said] in winter.
The vilage's other claim to fame is that it offers some of the best views from land of the Summer Isles. [edit text][editors]
