Bushmills is located on the north coast of County Antrim, Northern Ireland around 95km from Belfast. It is known for being the location of the oldest distillery in Ireland and dates back to the 1600s. The town's name is derived from the Bush River where salmon is regularly caught.
From Belfast it is about 1 ½ hour drive along the A26 or a little more if the Coastal Causeway Route is taken. It is a great location to explore the area, with the Giant’s Causeway, Royal Portrush Golf Club, Dunluce Castle, Old Bushmills Distillery and Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge is within reach.
