Helen is one of those places to go when in Georgia. It first started as a gold mining town when the Natives were moved. In the 60's all the people made the buildings and other things look like somewhere in Bavaria. It might look a little cheesy, but it is still an ideal vacation spot for people seeking a relaxing yet adventurous vacation. You can see the Alpine architecture and the little shops in the city. You can go tubing along the famous Chattahoochee River or go hiking in the parks surrounding the city. You can do anything on the woods or along the river. You can check out the good restaurants and unique stores the line the streets of Helen. You can do anything from mini golf to go-karting. You can do the outdoorsy, nature stuff or stroll through town. There's always something to do in Helen. [edit text] [editors]
