Located on the island of Hawaii or more commonly called the Big Island; Kona is a seaside town, which specialised in water sports. Everything you can think of is available here, but to be fair there snorkelling is truly majestic here. There are wonderful reefs that encourage the most beautiful fish to occupy.

This side of the island has much less rain and active volcanic activity, but the town sits on the side of a dormant volcano. It is also home to the first Christian church in Hawaii. But the town is very laid back, with lots of bars and restaurants that really gives you the ‘aloha’ experience. [edit text]  [editors]
