My first trip to America. April, 2004
Travel can become an addiction. This dreamy fantasy continues and I find myself drawn into worlds resembling paradise that I've never imagined before...What can I say about San Diego? I feel very fortunate to have been there. I took an 8-hour drive down from San Francisco. Long & tiring, but worth it. San Diego is a beautiful piece of land in the US bordering Mexico and is very tourist friendly; it draws tourists like a magnet. The economy almost solely depends on tourism. Can you imagine this small city is home to 6.400 restaurants, and has the largest concentration of European-style Spa resorts in the United States.
