US citizen wanting to work in france 3-6 months

jbear Joined: Feb 06 Points: 20 Posts: 5 Posted: 2006-02-08 13:25:00    hello! any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated, as all the consulates i email and call are either unresponsive, don't answer the phone, or don't know what to tell me. basically, i wanna live in france for 3-6 months and work while i'm there. i'll be a part time student while i'm there, but i'm told a student visa does not allow me to work, so i have to look into other types of visas because i'm broke! any advice? i'm currently living in the UK, so i also need to know if i have to apply for this visa from the states or if i can do it from here. help! johanna Reply    Reply with quote    Contact jbear   rjsoto Joined: Jan 07 Points: 4 Posts: 1 Posted: 2007-01-29 19:43:00    I have the same question, did you find anything out?
