A canadians version of England with houses of parliament and the changing of the guards ! The mounties are a novelty and really must be photographed!!!!

Favourite spots:
Sitting by the ottawa river.

What's really great:
white water rafting

Sights:
The park in autumn and the river in winter The canadian mounties riding stables the childrens museum ( can't remember name ) The casino

Accommodations:
Either of the IYHA are great but the one that used to be a jail is excellent for that jailbird feel !

Restaurants:
Rosies - great food and cheaper than macdonalds !
