Just wanted to recap my two visits to New York City. My first visit was extensive. My second visit, not so much. I was visiting a friend in New Jersey and was really craving some Italian food in Little Italy.




	Times Square is busy......... again

Where do I start... NY is a very busy place as you might expect. There's way too many people there for my taste. There was a terrible smell just about everywhere I went, and the service at restaurants was terrible. I enjoyed taking in the sites like the statue of liberty, empire state building, ground zero, brooklyn bridge, central park, and times square.

Probably the most fun I had there was getting around town in subways and crazy taxi cabs. I also liked being in central park because it was nice to get away from all the ruckuss. And if you want some cheap thrills, doing some illegal shopping for knock off purses in china town is the way to go.

All in all i don't see how I could ever live there. Then again if you ask any native they would say, why would you live anywhere else?

Favourite spots:




	The views in central park

My favorite spots to visit were Little Italy for some good Italian food. My second time in NY was just to go there and eat and go back to New Jersey. (i know).

I loved going to the amazing museums they have in NY and seeing great works of art first hand. The natural science museum was probably my favorite of them all though. that was the first time i saw dinosaur fossils. This is a great spot to take the kids.

	There was some festival going on in Little Italy

I watched Rent while i was on Broadway too. catching a show down there was a good experience. I know these shows travel across the US, and i've seen them when they come through Arizona, but there was a different feeling about it when i was on broadway.

Accommodations:




	Shot of the Brooklyn Bridge in the distance

Stay anywhere that fits your budget in a good location. Getting around NY is easy, so safety, comfort, and budget should be your main concerns.

Restaurants:

Anywhere in Little Italy. You'll pay too much for something not as good anywhere else.
