Hi Globies!

"Currently there is no report available on Comoros. Be the first one to publish a report on Comoros right here! It's easy! Publish your report now! Currently there are no insider tips available on Comoros. Be the first one to publish a tip on Comoros right here! It's easy! ...."

But I must go there first... It must be very strange place... Does anybody know how to get from Europe to Moroni on a cheap? Any suggestions?

Thanks

Wojtek

Hello Wojtiech!

I see that you really are determined to visit in a row all the countries where you have not yet been, to complete the world!

Comoros: several ways to get there: First you can fly to any of these destinations: Reunion - Mauritius - Seychelles - Mayotte - Harare - Nairobi. All these cities are served by a cheap AIR AUSTRAL air pass. But careful! This air pass is only sold in Paris! (In fact I did not know it and bought it in Reunion Island but after many troubles).

If you are only interested in Comoros, first fly to any of these destinations, and then to Moroni, which is a lovely Swahili island, like Lamu, or Zanzibar in the old times, without tourists, or better like lovely Mozambique Island (yes, I also travelled there, like you, in a dhow). Take into account that Anjouan and Moheli will probably be independent in the near future. Anjouan has its own flag. In your place I would visit all four Comores, including French Mayotte.

Austrian Airlines are offering these days cheap flights to Mauritius.

You do not need any visa.

Bon voyage!

Thanks Jorge...

I am going to study your solutions.

But so far Europe to Dar- es- Salam + Dar to Moroni flights

look the last expensive and easy to arrange...

There are so few carrier/conventional flights to the Comores, also nearby Mozambique and Madagascar therefore the prices very high. You might consider one of the charter package (flight/hotel) deals. If you contact www.orca.de they are sure help. They once had it on their program, specializing in island (specially scuba) travel, will have some information.

Thanks for your advice...

I decided to combine Comoros with Madagascar...

First: last expensive flight from Europe to Nairobi...

Second: Air Madagascar - Nairobi to Antananarivo

with one-week stop on Comoros (they fly this route

on Mondays only)...

Hi, just found out about this website while looking for cheap flight for comores.

I myself am comorian, and very please to see people being interested by my country.

I leave in england so it is more difficult to fing "cheap" flight for comores as all main cheap airline going to Moroni, go from Paris (sudan airways, yemenia, air austral.)

Anyway let's not be discourage as this country is worth the assle!!

Wojtekd hope you'll like my country and the people.
