Kargil - India Driving through that road isn't any easy. The road itself is the ancient path that pilgrims and traders would follow to get into Tibet and pilgrim to holy mount Kailash. The atmosphere of the road, where speed limits sometimes make you think that you are just walking, is so charming. Many pilgrims walk the whole way up to Laddakh, many monasteries are seen scattered through the mountains and the views are just breathtaking. Sometimes lorries fall over or get stucked on the very border of the path, just as in the picture.
