Ibn Al-Mistawfi statue and main citadel's gate's by antonioagui

Erbil - Iraq, Arb¿l That was the main entrance to the citadel. You can see the kurdish flag on the background, and Ibn Al-Mistawfi huge statue next to the gate. He was a lover oh his hometown, and wrote many chronicals, poems and historical information of it. Thanks to him we can now understand much better the past of this city and its culturally rich region.
