Starogard Gdanski - Poland Synagogue Starogard Gdanski - built in 1849 (Knight Street). Brick, Un-plastered building of the synagogue was erected on a rectangular plan, the neo-Gothic style. During World War II, in 1939, the Nazis devastated the synagogue, and arranged in the remand prison, and under the walls of the place of execution of many Poles. Currently, there is a shop here.
