Casa Hamaca is a B&B, but it is more like visiting friends. Denis, the American owner, is an amazing host - friendly, knowledgable and eager to provide his guest with the best experience possible. The house is beautiful, as are the gardens (there's also a small pool) and Sophie, the Mayan cook, prepared one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. There were fresh fruits, granola, cakes, freshly prepared guacamole and huevos rancheros with home made tortillas. The rooms are big, as are the bathrooms, and every room has, in addition to a very comfortable bed, a hammock (hamaca) and a mural on one of the walls. Denis is also a massage therapist, providing treatment for his guests and people of Valladolid and he also uses the house for language courses. A real find!
