THE ULTIMATE BREAKFAST place. In English, the name means "Daily Bread" and it is a fantastic place to get your bread fix. Baskets filled with croissants, baguettes, and rolls of all sorts. Combine this with pots of jam, honey, chocolate, Nutella, and other fantastic spreads made by the restaurant, and you've got a recipe for breakfast bliss. Salads and cheeses are also served.
This seems to be one of the only restaurants in France where the "free refill" concept has caught on...espresso and hot chocolate a-plenty, plus fresh squeezed orange juice.
Tables here are "picnic-style" and very long...unless you come with a large (6+) group, expect to be seated next to people you may not know. In my experience this has made it all the more fun.
To clear my conscience: this is part of a chain (albeit a very small one). Normally this would be enough to remove it from my list-however I make an exception in this case. They have another location in the 4th arr. on Rue des Archives.
