A fantastic new French place which opened in mid-2004. A bistro-like setup on the inside with five-star service and an impressive menu of classic French cuisine. The patio outside featured very authentic Parisian-style cane bistro chairs and looked very inviting.
We ordered appetizers of foie gras (excellent), and although they did not have any Sauternes on the menu, the waiter did recommend a Muscat that paired very well.
Sign up for their e-mail list, they often have specials in association with other places (Sam's Wine, the Lyric Opera, etc.) which make for a great weekend trip to Chicago.
