The ancient tradition of "Well dressing" is performed annually in many British Villages. Newborough dresses her well with thousands upon thousands of flowers, on May 1st each year, to give thanks for the provision of water. The well is in the middle of the village, viewing is free - any contributions in the collection box go to charity.
