Mancora - Peru, Piura Vichayito, a sea of warm waters, white sand, sun all year and lots of calm. Those are the letters of a long and wide beach that stretches-quiet and enjoyable-from Pocitas of Mancora to Punta Sail in the district of The Organ.
On the beach, marine life manifests itself in many ways, being able to observe crabs hidden in the rocks, digging in the sand muymuys, diversity of birds dominate the skies, dolphins frolicking in the waves and, in November, the passage of whales from equatorial waters.
In Vichayito strong winds from April to November inspire kite enthusiasts, while the "low" invite you to explore the depths and sunsets are the perfect excuse to go riding.
To visit the area must reach the 1.155 kilometer of the Panamericana Norte, where a trail begins. This seems to fade between dunes where it highlights the vichayito, a shrub with woody trunk that defies the harshness of the coastal desert and, incidentally, gives the name to this beautiful beach.
