This cave is called the Carpenter\-'-s Cave because the dome and roof has been carved to look like wood rafters. The Stupa is carved with a Budda

the caves are rock cut architecture, which means carved out of sheer rock. there is no wood, the rafters in ceiling are carved in rock, though they tresemble wooden ones.
