Great Sphinx from the side's by eirekay

Giza - Egypt, Al J¿zah I was so taken with the Great Sphinx - the face is incredibly and even startlingly human, with a tremendous look of compassion. The Sphinx is carved from a single outcropping of stone. Repairs have been made over the years to the body but the face has been left untouched.
