Karnak - Hapshetshuts Demise in Relief's by eirekay

Luxor - Egypt, Qinå This relief sites at the rear of Karnak's festival hall. Standing between Horus and Thoth, Gods of Eternity and Afterlife, Queen Hapshetshut's image has been removed by her step-son from whom she withhold power. Upon her death, he removed almost all traces of her here, in Luxor Temple and in her Tomb on the West Bank. He could not destroy the relief totally out of fear of angering the Gods.
