Traditional Backstrap Weaving's by eirekay

San Juan Atitlan - Guatemala, Huehuetenango Down many of the alleys are these small huts with weavers at work. Traditional backstrap weaving is the most common. Notice the leather strap at the weaver's hips. I have seen this same device used in Thailand, Egypt and India so it most be common the world over.
