This beautiful 1920s art deco hotel was lovingly restored about 10 years ago, after being allowed to fall into decay for almost two decades. The results are stunning! The exterior tin/pewter trim has been fully restored to it's original designs and the scaffolded signage on top is vintage. The lobby, halls and rooms have been refurbished with modern touches but in keeping with the original style. On the weekends, rates include a buffet brunch in a dining private room, and always included is the Midnight Pantry, available to guests at all hours, and stocked with sandwich fixings, cookies, brownies, sodas and even warm milk. The DeAnza is walking distance from the HP Pavilion Arena and often host entertainers and athletes performing there. Great for a stay if you are attending one of the Arena's many events. LaPastia, a Mediterranean restaurant on the ground floor, feature terrific upscale dining.
