I don't part with money easily but this hole-in-wall shop had the most amazing collection of DESIGNER textiles (I won't exactly name who because I don't want to get them into trouble) we saw in all of India! They apparently manufacture for the designers directly. They had a fine collection of furniture, wood boxes, iron work and a number of other products too, but back to the textiles. I bought: French scarf designer pashmina shawl - I have since found it in their catalog for more than 10 times what I paid. Same Designer Pashmina bedspread. Italian Designer silk bedspread. UK designer embroidered jacket - I saw, with my own eyes, in Neiman Marcus last week for 13 times what I paid. We also bought a mirror work bedspread and a couple more pashminas. In fact we bought so much we had to ship it back, but they brought the Fed Ex guy from down the street and packaged everything for us. It got home before we did!
