Scenery on the Trek to Kbal Spean's by el2995

Siem Reap - Cambodia, Si«m Réab As my guide and I trekked to the carved streambeds of Kbal Spean, my guide mentioned that the area we passed through reminded him of the areas where he and his fellow soldiers fought against Khmer Rouge holdouts when he served in a commando unit of the Khmer army. He talked of experiencing ambushes, booby traps, heavy fire fights, and even the loss of some of his close friends who fell prey to some poisoned rations that were left behind by the Khmer Rouge.
