The restaurant is laid out in what looks to be a traditional family household compound, with the diners sitting (sans shoes) at low tables on the porches of bungalow-styled brick and stucco dwellings within the compound (whose rustic ambiance was benefited by the presence of a few fighting cocks clucking from the confines of their woven bamboo cages), with the food prepared in front behind the compound's low brick wall. The succulent melts-in-your-mouth pork, made all the more tasty by a compliment of tangy spices, is pulled from the bone and served atop steamed rice, along with a piece of crunchy barbequed pork skin, a savory cut string bean salad and a pork stomach fritter, in a waxed paper-lined wicker bowl; paired with a cold Bintang Beer, it is sure to be a meal to remember.
