Special characters not working

If this is going to continue, I think we should warn Globies that when their enter special characters, those will be replaced with question marks, hash marks, etc., so they need to be careful as certain names of places would be changed beyond recognition. Is it on travel reports or where exactly? I have recently upgraded the Database Software which might be the cause. Euro currency does not work and letters like ?, ?, ?, ?, č, ?, etc. Also in material submitted a long time ago, when it all worked well. Kind regards Krys --- Open your eyes. Free your mind. I can still see a few issues. If you look up the history of this group entry, you will see that most special characters I typed are still showing as question marks. Also, my recent report on Foz do Iguacu shows a question mark for the Portuguese 'a con bigote'. Does this mean that the hitorical entries will not get corrected? Reply    Reply with quote    Contact krisek   pablo Joined: Sep 11 Points: 36 Posts: 8 Posted: 2011-09-13 14:12:00    Hi Krisek, I'm afraid the old entries witch had that character problem are impossible to fix, due to they are already saved in the database with the bad characters, I'm really sorry about that, but I realized that in not possible to change the entries inserted on the database during the period that the problem was active (about 2 months).
