Yamnotri - India I started the trek at approx 3500m in Yamunotri, the first of 4 holy place on hindu pilgrimage. up at 5000m is the source from glacier to feed Yamuna River. also the first stage of the climb. after a decent into a valley it goes right up to 5600m, as the highest point of the tour and going down to return to mainroad heading to Gangotri as the second, but most important point of pigrimage
